The Latter Times

Great post HERE that really makes you realize that time may be shorter than we think.

Reminds me of this great painting that illustrates a vision by General William Booth that depicts the end times Church apparent lack of concern over the fate of lost souls. The church is represented by those on the platform, who for the most part, seem quite unconcerned about those who are drowning all around them. A sad but accurate picture of many in the church world today.

  1. A picture worth more than a thousand words!

You think food prices are bad now- wait until the effects of all the flooding and levee breaks hit the marketplace!

When I was a young man Kieth Green's song "Asleep in the Light" was very appropo. Now I think the Church in America is asleep in the spotlight with our eyes wide open. We are about to have our nakedness exposed!
"Behold, I come like a thief! Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes with him, so that he may not go naked and be shamefully exposed."
    Revelation 16:15 NIV

America passed a "tipping point" when the second state allowed homosexual "marriage". Now it will be almost impossible for other states to resist.

If the believers in America (not the "religious right" the media loves to lambast) do not repent and start praying hard for revival, we will get the government we deserve in the coming election- ones who will abandon our commitment to Israel. Then this country will get the judgement we have earned- payment in full.

God is not mocked! His judgement is only slowed by His mercy. If you love Him cry out for mercy! Nothing short of a full-blown revival can save this country now.
