More Of Those Crazy Church Signs

My guess is that it's REALLY time to change the sign...either that or they're not feeling the love:

Church Sign-ery

Because church signs can be funny, confusing, and corny all rolled up into one big happy ball - I felt sharing my church sign reading experiences only made sense.

With the help of the church sign generator website - I can keep the church anonymous whose sign is being featured - yet look like a real church sign....you get the idea.

Here's today's offering - maybe you can help me figure this out:

If I'm already finished - then is this a good or bad thing?? So...I don't need to worry about trying to start then???

On The Lighter Side

And on the "I wouldn't want to be following this truck" front:

Other Things Seen....

Dude....

Things Seen In Church...

I was at a funeral yesterday and saw this clock which was on the wall immediately behind the pulpit. I'd hate the pressure of preaching in front of a clock - but hey, if you have to preach in front of a clock at least remind the clock watchers what 'time it is'....

Coke Commercial

You no doubt have seen the Coke Zero commerical where the "Coke officials" are meeting with a lawyer exploring the possibility of suing the Coke Zero people - the commercial is followed by a moronic ditty - 'da da da-da da da'.

I don't know why, but it is striking me particularly funny today. Here's the commercial script:

Marketing 1: "Do we have a case? I'd like to sue Coke Zero for taste infringement."

Lawyer: "For what?"

Marketing 2: "We want to sue them back to the Stone Age to send a message that they can't mess with the flagship brand."

Lawyer: "It's the same company. It's like suing yourself."

Marketing 1: "Yeah, but they're on a different part of the floor."

Books You Won't Find On My Bookshelf...

Hmmm...just face value here, but think of how great that sweater's gonna smell after it gets wet.

Ahhh...the Kentucky waterfall, the achey breaky mistakey - however you want to remember this monstrosity. Now here's a book to help the 'business in the front party in the back' haircut live on. Why? I don't know.

Actually saw this one in the Christian bookstore. Thought it was joke. The joke was on me. A mullet wearing, tobacco chewing, Mona Lisa dressing dude - I guess this is what you read when every other book on the planet has fallen into the abyss.

Snake Oil Salesmen

(All I can say is God help us)

From The Elijah List October 22, 2007

"Special POMEGRANATE Anointing oil from CHUCK PIERCE. . .

I've told many of our readers, that "oil is oil." The Bible just teaches that we should anoint one another with oil. HOWEVER, having said that, we enjoy making specially fragrant and specially prophetic-meaning oils available to you for your ministry use. Again, it could be motor oil, since "oil is oil." But the OIL OF THE POMEGRANATE (offered below) has special Biblical meanings of success, prosperity, healing, and more. . . .

"Pomegranate Anointing Oil" $19.99 4 oz.

Anointing Oil "My Life Will Profit" $12.99 3/4 oz. Roll-on Anointing Oil..."
